Sunday, January 16

6:00 pm - Fuck the Inauguration! (a night of anti-capitalist folk music). Donation suggested, to benefit Seeds of Peace, doing free feedings during the inauguration protests. Brian MacKenzie Infoshop, 1426 9th St NW at P St NW (Mt. Vernon Square or Shaw/Howard Metro). 6:00 pm until 11:00 pm or so. Featuring: David Rovics, Anna Roland, Evan Greer, Counterfeit Matt, Mark Gunnery, Ryan Harvey, and Slug's Revenge. Brought to you by the Riot-Folk! Collective and Anarchist Resistance.

Monday, January 17

11:00 am - Community Outreach Day. Meet at the Convergence Center, 39 New York Ave NE. We will be distributing information on the protests, as well as information about what anarchists stand for, throughout Washington, DC. We will leave no later than 12 noon, to scatter our selves throughout the city, on metros, busses, and streets to talk to people (and hear what they have to say) about the counter-inaugural events and the larger picture. There will be some flyers available to give out, but bring your own flyers as well.

Tuesday, January 18

7:00 pm - Benefit Show for Street Medics. WMUC - South Campus Dining Hall, University of Maryland College Park. Doors at 7, music at 7:30 All Ages. $5 to benefit the street medics. Featuring: Rue the Day, Aghast, Mass Movement of hte Moth VS. Polar, An Alarm, and Bring Your Skateboard to the Show.

Wednesday, January 19

1:00 pm - Radical Cheerleaders Mini-Cheerleading Convergence. At the Convergence Center, 39 New York Ave NE. Come by between 1:00 and 7:00 to share cheers, practice your skillz, make supplies, or sleep in a corner. We will host a "formal" meeting from 4pm and 6pm to allow some coordination concerning our plans for Thursday.

6:00 pm - Punk Rock Benefit Show for J20 Legal. Cafe Mawonaj, 624 T St NW (Shaw/Howard Metro - Green Line). Doors open at 6, bands will begin at 7 and end around 11. $5 to benefit Counter-Inaugural legal. Featuring: Defiance, Ohio, Ghost Mice, Kathy Cashel, Los Gatos Negros, and Spoonboy.

Thursday, January 20

7:30 am - Critical Mass #1. Meet at Union Station, 2nd St and Massachusetts Ave, NE.

9:00 am - Militant Anti-Fascist Contingent. Meet in Malcolm X Park for the DAWN Rally at 9:00 - march leaves at 11:15. Look for the red and black flags.

12:30 pm - Anarchist March and Anti-Authoritarian Bloc. Meet at 12:30 pm in Logan Circle (east side of 13th between Rhode Island and P St. NW) for a festive, rowdy and direct action oriented march with a large anti-authoritarian bloc. Look for black flags and a large banner and don't forget to bring your own! Stay tuned for logistical info for the day-of.

4:00 pm - Critical Mass #2. Meet at Dupont Circle.

6:00 pm - Not My President! Punk Rock Counter-Inaugural Ball. Sanctuary Theater in Casa del Pueblo of Calvary Methodist Church, 1459 Columbia Rd. NW (btw 14th and 15th near the Columbia Heights Metro). Doors at 6:00pm, $5 to benefit Empower DC and Jan. 20th Protest efforts against the 2005 Presidential Inauguration. Anti-Flag, Q and not U, 1905, and Del Cielo. Presented by members of Positive Force DC in conjunction with the Rorschach Theater

Friday, January 21

6:00 pm - Really, Really Free Market. At the Convergence Center, 39 New York Ave NE. There will be free books, food, clothes, and more! Please bring your craft or skill to set up a booth to participate in this example of anarchy in action. We imagine dozens of tables with free books, food, clothes, art, music sharing, massages, and a world of other creative efforts for free distribution and display. Starts at 6:00 pm.

Saturday, January 22

4:00 pm - Book Reading: Ron Jacobs will read from his new book: Weathermen History: The Way the Wind Blew . Free. Brian MacKenzie Infoshop, 1426 9th St NW at P St NW (Mt. Vernon Square or Shaw/Howard Metro). More info on the book.

10:00 am - Militant counter-protest to the Defend Life March (annual pro-life march on the Supreme Court). Navy Memorial. Later in the day, pro-choice and anti-fundamentalists will converge at the Supreme Court (1st St. & Maryland Ave., NE), where the march is scheduled to end.
