...or Attend one (or all) of the planned actions listed below

Working scenario plan updated on September 8

Autonomous Actions

On September 27 autonomous actions will occur all over the city as part of The People's Strike: A Day of Non-Compliance and Resistance. Activists from all over the country are coming to DC. People are getting organized and making plans to shut the city down for a day and effectively stop business as usual.

All kinds of actions can occur on the 27. Consider the following:

  • Supporting planned actions by having your group bottomlining logistics for People's Strike actions
  • Volunteer to do street communications, bike scouting, street medical and legal observing
  • Messaging: banner drops, public art, and other messaging can help bring the politics of the day into the spotlight and strengthen more strategic actions
  • Flying Squads: roam the city to strengthen weak spots and support lockdowns and other autonomous actions

Also! Organize your affinity group or organization to do an autonomous action around one of the political or strategic targets. Getting groups to commit to actions at these locations will be key to shutting the city down. Get in touch with the ACC for ideas on a political or strategic target or organize an action around an issue you or your group works on.
